On September 17th, 2012 my horse Tee and myself were accepted into Dressage4kid's inaugural Winter Intensive Training Program. The program is based out of Hampton Green Farm in Wellington, FL. WIT is organized by D4K founder and 2 time Olympian Lendon Gray. Tee and myself were excepted along with 12 other horse/rider combinations from around the country. Hopefully by having this blog everyone can be up to date and watch our progress.

Day 23
Guess I will start off with a bit of good news! Out of 34 questions on the written test I got the highest score with only 2 wrong :-)
Day 23 Saturday January 26th 2013
Today I had another lesson with Annie Morris!
Tee was a bit grumpy and was tending to suck back and buck a bit when I asked him to go forward thus making our canter transitions pretty crappy at first. Annie had us try a little leg yield off the outside leg (shoulder-out) to loosen up his outside leg so it would work for us and not against us. After some fantastic canter transitions we worked a bit on a consistently round and pliable shoulder-in.
Not much else went on today, been chillin at the condo for the most part!
In till next time blog readers!
